Inspired by the beautiful Australian bush, A Hike and a Slice was painted after a big family walk, with the dog, around the trails of beautiful Mt Coot-tha in south east Queensland. The late sun was warming the colours, even though the air was already cooling off. Typical of our family walks, the expectation is of a slice of something cake-like as reward for a big hike.
This painting is on deep edged canvas and is varnished for protection. It ships unframed, but I am happy to arrange framing if you wish, simply email me and I will organise it for you.
